BBallots

Transparent voting, from start to finish

Here is exactly how every Ballots contest works — from creation to results.

01

An organisation creates a contest

Partners — schools, companies, or communities — create a contest on Ballots, define categories, and invite nominees. Every contest is verified before going live.

02

Nominees are invited and accept

Nominees receive an invitation link and must accept before appearing on the ballot. Only approved nominees are visible to voters.

03

Voting opens

When voting opens, anyone can vote — no account required. Choose a category, pick your nominee, enter your email, and pay securely. You can cast multiple votes for the same nominee.

04

Votes are verified server-side

Every vote is issued only after your payment is confirmed directly with the payment gateway. Votes are immutable and cannot be changed or deleted.

05

Live leaderboards update in real time

Watch nominees rise on the leaderboard as votes are cast. Results are cached and refreshed every 30 seconds.

06

Contest closes

When the deadline passes, the contest closes and results are finalised. The organisation receives a full audit trail.
